This one is a bit different. Rawer. Closer to the chest.
We’ve been in New Orleans since February, and while the city hasn’t gotten any quieter, our mission has only gotten clearer. If you’ve followed our story, you know this journey to plant a church in New Orleans has been long. Eight years of holy frustration, detours, growth, and glimpses of glory. But now, something is shifting. We feel the tremble in our bones. January 2026 is coming, and we’re opening our home as the first space for this faith community to take root.
And we know, beyond any shadow of a doubt, we can’t do it without prayer. Real prayer. Not vibes. Not “thoughts.” Intercession. Warfare. Heaven-to-earth kind of stuff.
So here’s the ask: We’re building a prayer team. And we’re taking applications.
Not because we need to be fancy. Not because we’re trying to be extra. But because we’re not playing games anymore. We live in the middle of one of the most spiritually charged cities in America. Demonic oppression is real. Strongholds are real. Darkness is loud. But Jesus is louder. And we need people who know how to pray like they believe that.
This team will be tight. Intentional. Equipped. We’re even sending out physical prayer tools like stickers for your fridge, guided prayers, mementos to keep our family and mission top of mind. We’re serious. We’re grateful. And we’re full of faith.
In this moment, we’re asking for favor, wisdom, and boldness. 1. Favor to meet the right people. 2. Wisdom to walk in God’s will. 3. Boldness to speak when it’s hard.
